The Ultimate Award: A Helmet Plaque

Personalized to your specifications for retirements, memorials, recognition, honor, service and time-in-service awards. Each plaque is unique. This is not an off-the-shelf award. Please give us as much lead-time as possible to ensure your award is crafted perfectly.

No photograph can even come close to showing how powerful these customized plaque-mounted fire helmets
really are: the fact that they are deeply dimensional is one of the factors that makes them --literally-- stand
out!

Shown above: We've mounted both a Cairns 880 and Morning Pride's Ben Franklin Fire Helmet onto a solid walnut board, finished with curved edges. Then we've added the handmade gold leaf shield front, a decorative engraving plate, and torchieres.

The front holder for the Cairns helmet is an Eagle carved from solid brass.    The stock front holder on the Morning Pride helmet is a solid bright brass Eagle.

Helmet fronts are made with Gold Leaf with computer generated artwork.

The Plaque is hand made, using solid walnut with a rounded over edge and clear finish. We think our custom shape is more elegant than others on the market. All mounting hardware is brass finish.

The engraving plate is solid brass with a gloss black finish. Engraving shows through the black as gold. There is no limit on the engraving. The plate is bordered by decorative gold torchiers.

All fireman's helmets are available in Red, White, Blue, Black and Yellow. Structural and other helmets are also available. Or send us one of your station's helmets or a shield to use. It's a great way to recycle and makes the plaque even more personal. Better still, there's a cost and often a time savings.
